Thursday Forum

Thursday Forum was organized in 1945 and joined the General Federation of Women’s Clubs as well as
the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1946. However, in 2011, Thursday Forum ended its
affiliation with the GFWC and the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs to keep all dues and
donations local. The membership is generally comprised of ladies who have worked in the community
through different service organizations for many years.
