This scholarship is named after the ExxonMobil Main Office Building, known as the ‘White House."
The White House, built in 1971 as Humble Oil’s Refinery office building, is recognized for its
importance in the history of ExxonMobil Baytown. For over five decades, th.e White House has stood
as the tallest and most iconic structure in Baytown and has served as a gathering space for
employees, families, and the community. It has been a place where ideas were born, milestones were
reached, and friendships were built. The legacy will live on through this scholarship.
